The Truth Behind the Narrative

The Christchurch attack would have been horrific if the video had been real. We believe that an attack did take place but that it happened before that disgraceful left wing idiot pretended to shoot up a bunch of dummies and/or actors.

The following is from the website Wake Up the Sheeple, because Fezbook would not allow us to post it directly. Read what they say about B. Tarr-aint (misspelled so fezbook doesn’t censor us too)…

New Zealand has a long history of activism with a proven global impact.

NZ is a member of the Five Eyes spy network, a powerful intelligence club made up of the US [Israel unofficially backdoors in through U.S.], UK, Canada, Australia & NZ.

“The best way to take over a people & control them utterly is to take a little of their freedom at a time, to erode rights by a thousand tiny & almost imperceptible reductions. In this way, the people will not see those rights & freedoms being removed until past the point at which these changes cannot be reversed.” – Adolf Hilter, MEIN KAMPF (My Camp)

In the not so distant past, Benjamin Netanyahu told New Zealand backing the UN vote against Israel would be declaration of war’; Israeli PM reportedly warned that support for motion on settlements would ‘rupture relations’ between two countries.

Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly told New Zealand’s foreign minister that support for a UN resolution condemning Israeli settlement-building in the occupied territories would be viewed as a “declaration of war”.

On 03/10/2019, in an exclusive television interview with Newshub, Hillary Clinton’s former presidential campaign manager, John Podesta, reported as stating, “2020 New Zealand was a big juicy target for major hack.”

John Podesta flew out of NZ to AUS, just days before the terroristic mass shooting.

“There are other actors in the region, including China, that may have a high degree of interest in being able to penetrate what the private conversations of people in NZ politics & NZ Government are looking at,” Mr Podesta says.

He says NZ [is] a “juicier target”, and should guard against hacked information being weaponised as fake news.

“What’s new is this weaponisation – the use of social media to spread discord, lies, dissatisfaction – that’s I think what you’ve got to look out for,” he says.

Mr Podesta played a starring role in one of the great conspiracy theories of the election – his hacked emails included an exchange about a Washington DC pizza joint called Comet Ping Pong. (A central hub for the Washington high-level pedophile ring)

[The allegations are] that HC (Hillary Clinton) and JP (John Podesta) and [???] were/are running a child sex trafficing/ organ trafficing) organization using a pizza parlour as a front, since we like to refer to the children & even younger children by food codenames.

{Very young girl= “Cheese”
Very young boy= “pasta”

young girl= “Pizza”
young boy= “Hot Dog”

human brain = “walnut”
Adrenochrome = “Sauce”

“hair”- represents being pubescent
“no hair/hairless” = represents pre-pubescent }

These are some very odd words by Podesta to use right before a major mass shooting in New Zealand at Sunni Muslim Mosques…Which of course now is being used to place blame on President Trump and “white people” as a whole, & Racism/Islamophobia (predominately aimed at whites)…Which, if you truly think about it, is strange in itself when this event happened overseas. Especially when one connects all the dots & looks at all the facts as a whole.

The story of “Brenton Tarr-aint” begins in 1948 where an impoverished Jewish family leaves Palestine for Britain and then Australia, where in 1970 they gain citizenship. 5-25 years later, a son is born named Brenton. With the family now living in Australia, dad dies of mesothelioma (asbestos) and “Brenton” suddenly inherits enough money to travel the world though, as holocaust survivors, no living relatives exist. Whatever world travels are on the list, and we are getting feedback every hour, a considerable sojourn in Israel is part of it, followed by Turkey and then a tour of neo-Nazi/Freemason training camps, the same facilities that prepared Anders Brevik.

He is an alleged member of the Masonic Forum in Canberra, capital of Australia, listed as something very much other than a social organization.

Before the attack, 12 bombs were planted in the same area surrounding the mosque and connected to the explosion via Mobile, which were dismantled by the authorities after all the nearby residents were evacuated from their homes.

On page 19 of his manifesto, the New Zealand shooter ironically remarked:

“Are you a Fed/shill/mossad agent/false flag/patsy/infiltrator/antifa/glow in the dark etc?
No, but the next person to attack could be, so a healthy scepticism is a good thing.”

The shooter, Brenton Tarr-aint was, indeed, a CIA/Mossad asset. This becomes clear when observing that the shooter’s writing and actions before the massacre associate himself, a “right-wing white male”, with all of Israel’s enemies and pro-European movements, discrediting them.

The plan at hand, in the words of the killer himself…

MANIFEST EXCERPT- “I chose firearms for the affect it would have on social discourse, the extra media coverage they would provide and the affect it could have on the politics of the United states and thereby the political situation of the world. The US is torn into many factions by it’s second ammendment, along state, social, cultural and, most importantly, racial lines. With enough pressure the left wing within the United states will seek to abolish the second ammendment, and the right wing within the US will see this as an attack on their very freedom and liberty. This attempted abolishment of rights by the left will result in a dramatic polorization of the people in the United States and eventually a fracturing of the US along cultural and racial lines.”

Here are the clues.

1 The Dog Whistle: My Fellow White People

On page 5 of the shooter’s manifesto, Tarr-aint twice mentions he is “just a [sic] ordinary White [sic] man”. It’s the well-known dog whistle that some Jewish Twitter users have used to stealthily accuse white people of evil (“My fellow white men, …”). Why would a white man need to stress he is, in fact, a white man? It should be more than obvious that Tarr-aint is white.

2 The “Uneducated White Male” Caricature

The shooter claims to be uneducated, of lower class stock. Indeed, the manifesto is riddled with mixed writing styles, grammar, and spelling errors. The errors appear to make the shooter look “uneducated”, which, in itself, is a pet peeve of the anti-white movement. They love to paint their white political adversaries as uneducated and ignorant.

The well-educated right-winger seems to know a lot on history. Dates and names of white supremacists, the crusaders, wars with the Ottoman Empire, and a lot about historical events, which involved Muslims were written on his weapons. The writing in White colour mentioned the name of Anton Lundin Pettersson, who was a young, extremist student in Sweden. Petterson had killed two migrant children in 2015.

Another name was of Alexandre Bissonnette, who attacked a Canadian mosque in 2017 and murdered six Muslims.

Albanian military Commander Skanderbeg’s name was also written on the gun. He led a rebellion against the Ottoman Empire in the 15th century.

The other names included that of Antonio Bragadin and Charles Martel. Bragadin was a Venetian officer who violated an agreement, killing Turkish captives. Whereas, Martel was a Frank military leader who had defeated Spanish Muslims in the Battle of Tours.

Another thing mentioned on the gun was 1683, which refers to the Battle of Vienna. In this battle, the strategic city of Vienna was besieged by the Ottoman forces.

However, the poorly written manuscript could have been greatly improved had the author merely used a spelling checker. Since the document was posted as an MS Office .docx file, one has to wonder why the author didn’t use the spelling and grammar tools? Or re-read his writing just once? The manifesto’s poor writing quality was faked.

3 Too Stupid For Grammar, Yet So Smart He Profits from Bitconnect/Bitcoin

On page 5, the author claims he invested in Bitconnect, and used the proceeds to fund his travels abroad since 2012. But Bitconnect.com was a Bitcoin lending platform that launched in 2016, along with its own cryptocurrency. Apparently, the shooter claims to have made a profit but Bitconnect went bankrupt in january of 2018. The currency dropped in value from $500 to $1.

Unless it was the CIA/Mossad that ran Bitconnect, it is highly unlikely that an apparently uneducated white male like Brenton Tarr-aint could have made a profit of Bitconnect. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BitConnect

4 Iran Connection (1): Visits to North Korea, One of Iran’s Few Political Allies

Though the manifesto fails to mention the shooter’s trips to North Korea and Pakistan (the manifesto was intended for a white audience), Brenton visited both North Korea and Pakistan some time in 2018 or before. North Korea has economic and possibly nuclear ties with Iran, Israel’s archenemy. It helps to associate the dictatorial regime of NK with the NZ massacre, especially if you are Israel and looking to further incriminate the regime.

The subliminal message is, “white right-wing extremists love authoritarian regimes like North Korea’s”

The shooter visited Pakistan, a neighbor of Iran, just months before the attacks. During or shortly after the visit, he praised the Pakistani people for their hospitality. He posted this message on the Facebook page of Osho Than, the hotel he stayed at, which is run by Shia Muslims.

The subliminal message is, “this white guy was influenced by Shia Muslims, then killed 49 Sunni Muslims”. Shia Muslims, of course, are the majority in Iran, Israel’s enemy. Sunni are the majority outside of Iran. The Sunni Muslims will want to retalliate against the evil Shia, which serves Israel’s upcoming war against Iran.

5 Iran Connection (2): Visits Shia-Muslim Hotel in Pakistan But NZ Victims Were Sunni-Muslim

The shooter visited Pakistan, a neighbor to Iran, just months before the attacks. During, or shortly after the visit, he praised the Pakastani people for their hospitality. He posted this message on the Facebook page of Osho Than, than, the hotel he stayed at, which is run by shia muslims.

A Freemason?

The underlying subliminal message reads as follows, “This Australian dude was heavily influenced by Shia muslims, then decided to kill 49 Sunni muslims.”

Shia muslims, of course, are the majority in Iran, Israels enemy. Sunni muslims are the majority outside of Iran. The Sunni muslims will want to retaliate against Shia, which serves Israel’s upcoming war against Iran.

9 NZ Prime Minister Fails to Lie to Your Face During the Press Conference

After the attacks, the NZ Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern held a press conference. She emphasized that Muslims seeking a “better life” in NZ “are us” and that there might have been refugees and migrants among the dead. In the video, on three occasions, she says the attacks were “clearly” a vile act. The first time she says this, she looks straight into the camera with unblinking eyes. But the second and third time, she looks down and away. It’s hard to lie to people’s faces. A body language expert might need to look into this:

10 The “Doom”-Style First-Person Shooter Video Helps Condemn Video Games (That potentially Teach Kids How to Fight Back one day)

11 Tarrant’s Strange Association with Serbian Nationalists (Who Opposed Islamic Immigration)

In the live-streamed video, Tarrant played some music of an old Serbian nationalist outfit that supported Karadzic. The Serbs fought to keep mass Muslim immigration out of their country. The subliminal message is, “it is bad to keep Muslims out of your country”. The link is also made with Russia, another supporter of Iran and enemy of Israel.

12 Tarrant Was an Expert Marksman

In the live-stream, Tarrant hit moving targets from quite a distance. He had done this before. Where did he receive his training? Likely, from the Mossad/CIA. apparently his precision marksmanship coupled with his low grain bullets proved for zero visible bullet holes or blood splatter or and shrapnel or impact type debri.

13 Tarrant Made Sure His Face and License Plate Were Captured on Video

Why? It means he wanted to be caught (for the ensuing media and court show). It also means he wanted the media to show his white/whitish face to the world. Media complied.

14 Tarrant Was a Breivik-Copycat

Like Breivik:

  • Tarrant wore full military costume ([psy-ops] to instill fear & paralyze people);
  • had an overkill of guns (the Ar-15 apparently had Ca legal modifications, even though NZ had no such requirements), ammo and bombs at his disposal;
  • shot people at point-blank range to make sure they were dead;
  • worked calm and desensitized (like a trained soldier);
  • shot unarmed people;
  • killed people at two different places, traveled by car in between;
  • didn’t kill himself;
  • showed a “right-wing” hand gesture in court (Brevik’s fist, Tarrant’s O.K. sign);
  • smiled in contempt of court;
  • had many if not hundreds of hours of target practice…

THINK PEOPLE… THINK MOTIVE… THINK WORLD-WIDE CONSEQUENCES!

” Like hey, I’m an Aussie white supremacist, who trained against Palestinians and served in Southern Syria and in Idlib with al Qaeda, transiting in and out of Turkey. I want to partake in a hate crime, specifically a shooting of Sunni-Muslims. I don’t do it in my hometown of Grafton, or even drive to Sydney, I instead fly to NZ where I have to pass through security, twice, before leaving Oz and on arrival in New Zealand. Why wouldn’t I just do it at home where I’m in my comfort zone, have contacts, pass unnoticed?

Instead, I do it in Christchurch, a city unknown to me, where I have to secure a cache of arms in gun-controlled New Zealand, find the paint and time to personalize them with various scrawlings of names and symbols to leave no doubt who I identify with, secure a vehicle, all away from familiar surroundings and all without raising suspicion.

As a lover of my race and people, I do many strange things to do them the most harm. I leave messages naming alt-right heroes, rather than keep silent and perform my crime in a manner that would protect them. One would almost conclude my conduct to be in the most clichéd manner of the perfect neonazi. I’m no individual, I’m a caricature. Almost too conveniently, I target muslims at the perfect moment they are most vulnerable, gathered in prayer, finding them at a mosque whose location I almost certainly wouldn’t have known.
I live stream my attack in a precise video game, again making sure to include all the clichés, making sure to capture my own image, & license plate number, just to make sure there are no doubts of who I am. It’s almost as if I’m leaving my calling card.

At the same time a Climate Change march is being conducted all around the world to demonstrate the strength of globalist love, I perform an attention-grabbing hate crime to do the most damage to the cause I’m supposed to support and reinforce the evil of the white race. My timing could not have been more perfect.

Oh, and all of this is an expensive exercise, from someone the media is claiming is down on his luck.”

The New Zealand mass killer trained in Israel in 2017 and 2018 then visited Turkey and the Balkans, this is confirmed.

Remember Tarrant is not from NZ but Australia. How did he get to Australia? How did he get 5 military weapons, some of them geographicaly illegal? How were they carried on the plane or arranged? Where did they come from? Where are they now? Why can’t we see them?
Tarrant’s original shooting involved an Eotech sight, manufactured in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This unit has a serial number. What is it? It can be traced. The second rifle used in the video had a Swedish manufacture Aimpoint sight, also very expensive and also individually serial numbered.

In the US, the “Eotech used is a “law enforcement only” verson. Also, as the weapon photographed was an early version of a specially modified AR15, much like the Clinton era “ban” era weapons in the US. None or fewer of these fake modified AR 15s from rural areas of Australia exist. The weapon was never used there as the .223/5.56mm cartridge was inadequate for long range varmint work and few were issued to Australian military and those in 20 inch barrel with Vietnam era and highly recognizable M 16 E1 characteristics.
How did this banned “Aussie” weapon get to Australia? Where did the other weapons, more AR’s, shotguns and pistols, come from?

Some of the background came from sources in the Netherlands counter-terrorism forces as well who began running background on our shooter as he began contacting White Supremacist groups there and across Central Europe (never called Eastern Europe, that’s Russia).

The trail he followed, other than North Korea and elsewhere, was the “Steve Bannon/Anders Berstein” circuit where the Maidan snipers were trained as well. The Georgian snipers used at Maidan were private military contractors from groups VT knows very well, groups contracted to Bechtel Corporation and British Petroleum, according to VT bureau chief Jeffrey Silverman in Tbilisi, Georgia.

So, where are we? We have silenced witnesses and banned videos.

We have money from alleged crypto-currency investments during a time crypto-currency was not doing so well, training in Israel, time spent in Syria and in and out of Turkey, we have a trained assassin pretending to be a world tourist with zero-little photos, videos, social media, friends, schoolmates, neighbors, or a British/Scottish background achieved when his Jewish family immigrated to the UK from Palestine/Israel in 1948.

🤷

New Zealand shooting suspect’s worldwide trips investigated
#CIA & #MOSSAD trained operatives, (often disguised as tourists, contractors, political delegates or representatives, etc.) tend to travel quite a bit…js

Tarrant’s travels took him through much of Europe, the UK, Bulgaria, Greece (Crete island, Heraklion, & Santorini) Israel, North Korea, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, India, & Japan, trained with soviets in Ukraine, Croatia, trained against Palestinians and served in Southern Syria and in Idlib with al Qaeda, transiting in and out of Turkey.

Last year, he described Pakistan as “an incredible place filled with the most earnest, kind hearted and hospitable people in the world”.

“The beauty of hunza and nagar valley in autumn cannot be beat,” he wrote online, according to the Sydney Morning Herald.

The alleged 28-year-old boy of two British parents of Jewish origin, who’s family fled from the occupied territories after the 1948 war to Britain and then to New Zealand and stayed for 11 years and then settled for residency in Australia and obtained Australian citizenship in 1970.

Brenton went to the occupied territories in 2017 and 2018 with visits lasting six months.

He is a member of the Masonic Forum in Canberra, capital of Australia, listed as something very much other than a social organization.

Little known fact, before the attack, 12 bombs were planted in the same area surrounding the mosque and connected to the explosion via Mobile, but were later dismantled by NZ authorities after all the nearby houses were evacuated.

The shooting took 17 minutes and 4 seconds long enough for the police to quickly find that the police station was only 2 kilometers away from the mosque, which marks question marks about the New Zealand authorities. New Zealand is a country that fights Islam and most of its officials are Masonic.

The Australian accused of the deadly shooting at two mosques in New Zealand traveled around the globe, including Eastern Europe, Turkey, Pakistan and probably North Korea. Authorities in several countries are probing his trips.

Before his shooting spree left 50 worshipers dead and 40 people injured in Christchurch on Friday, Brenton Harrison Tarrant published a manifesto where the 28-year-old mentioned visiting Pakistan, North Korea, Turkey, France, Poland, Bulgaria, Ukraine, Iceland, Argentina and many other countries. Now, some of these states are investigating what he might have done there and whether he picked up his radical ideas during his travels.

UK
One of those countries is the UK, as the gunman called for the murder of London mayor Sadiq Khan. Tarrant accused Khan of working to “replace” the majority-white British people with Muslims. MI5 is now looking into Tarrant’s possible links to far-right radicals in Britain that he might have established during his European visits.

The bodybuilder and personal trainer from a small Aussie town wrote that he was able to fund his many travels after successfully investing in cryptocurrency.

Bulgaria
Bulgarian security and intelligence chiefs held an emergency meeting following the Christchurch shooting, as the Eastern European country was one of Tarrant’s most recent destinations.

The gunman was in Bulgaria between November 9 and 15 last year “to visit historical sites and study the history of the Balkan country,” Prosecutor-General Sotir Tsatsarov, told the media.

Bulgarian sources told the New Zealand Herald that inscriptions on the rifle magazines found at the scene of the shooting were made in Cyrillic, and included the names of famous battles and historical figures from the Balkans, who fought against the Ottoman Empire. The wars against Ottoman Turks were also a source of inspiration for Norwegian terrorist Anders Breivik.

Tarrant arrived to Bulgarian capital Sofia on a flight from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. He rented a car there and visited a host of local towns, Sofia Globe reported.
The man then flew from Sofia to the Romanian capital of Bucharest, from where he traveled to neighboring Hungary by car, the outlet added.

Turkey
Tarrant visited Turkey at least two times, staying an “exended period of time in the country,” an unnamed Turkish official told TRTWorld. His visits took place in 2016, before and after the failed Turkish coup in mid-July.

In his manifesto, the gunman urged the recapture of Istanbul’s Hagia Sophia from the Muslims and the assassination of Turkish President, Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

Turkish law enforcers are looking into Tarrant’s activities in the country as they believe he arrived “to carry out a terror attack and/ or an assassination,” the source said. People of Turkish origin were among the victims of the Christchurch mosque shooting.

According to the official, the man may have also travelled from Turkey to third countries in Europe, Asia and Africa.

Pakistan
An owner of a hotel in Nagar valley in Northern Pakistan has told the media that Tarrant was one of his guests in October 2018. He said that the man travelled alone and looked “humble.”

The owner shared a picture of a man he claimed was Tarrant, holding a camera in front of his face.

There’s also a photo circulating online, showing the Christchurch attacker at the Samjiyon Grand Monument in North Korea.

New Zealand
It’s not clear if Tarrant was looking for a target during his travels and why Christchurch mosque eventually became the venue of the attack. New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern said that the gunman stayed in the country for “sporadic periods of time.” He wasn’t a resident of Christchurch when the massacre took place, being “based in Dunedin,” she added.

The Mossad is behind this, the CIA [is behind this] and especially here in the United States the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and the Central Intelligance Agency (CIA) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) (Etc.) are staging these events in order to push for a limit to the freedoms of Americans and to push for unconstitutional police state that we are now subject to and also to forward an agenda where the American people are treated as perpetrators in this military police state that we live in.

Netanyahu ‘told New Zealand backing UN vote would be declaration of war’
Israeli PM reportedly warned that support for motion on settlements would ‘rupture relations’ between two countries.

Benjamin Netanyahu reportedly told New Zealand’s foreign minister that support for a UN resolution condemning Israeli settlement-building in the occupied territories would be viewed as a “declaration of war”.

According to reports in Israeli media, the Israeli PM called Murray McCully, the foreign minister of New Zealand, before Friday’s resolution, which was co-sponsored by Wellington. Netanyahu told him: “This is a scandalous decision. I’m asking that you not support it and not promote it.

“If you continue to promote this resolution, from our point of view it will be a declaration of war. It will rupture the relations and there will be consequences. We’ll recall our ambassador [from New Zealand] to Jerusalem.”

McCully, however, refused to back down, telling Netanyahu: “This resolution conforms to our policy and we will move it forward.”

A western diplomat confirmed that the call took place and described the conversation as “harsh”.

The details of the call – disclosed in Haaretz – suggest a mounting sense of panic on the part of Netanyahu in the run-up to the UN security council resolution that passed on Friday demanding an end to settlement building.

As well as the Netanyahu call, a senior official in Israel’s foreign ministry called New Zealand’s ambassador to Israel, Jonathan Curr, and warned that if the resolution came to a vote, Israel might close its embassy in Wellington in protest.

Israel responded furiously to the vote, threatening diplomatic reprisals against the countries that voted in favour. Diplomatic ties with New Zealand were temporarily severed and ambassador Itzhak Gerberg was recalled.

But in a sign that the international pressure may be being felt by the Netanyahu administration, scheduled plans to consider for approval 600 new settlement houses in occupied east Jerusalem were abruptly removed from the agenda of the city’s municipality on Wednesday.

Netanyahu’s language and behaviour – which has resulted in ambassadors being reprimanded and consultations with foreign leaders, including the UK’s Theresa May, cancelled – has raised eyebrows among foreign diplomats, who point out that the UN resolution does no more than confirm the longstanding view of the international community on Jewish settlements.

The United Nations postponed last week for the third time the publication of a blacklist of Israeli and international firms that profit directly from Israel’s illegal settlements in the occupied territories.

The international body had come under enormous pressure to keep the database under wraps after lobbying behind the scenes from Israel, the United States and many of the 200-plus companies that were about to be named.

UN officials have suggested they may go public with the list in a few months.

But with no progress since the UN’s Human Rights Council requested the database back in early 2016, Palestinian leaders are increasingly fearful that it has been permanently shelved.
That was exactly what Israel hoped for. When efforts were first made to publish the list in 2017, Danny Danon, Israel’s ambassador to the UN, warned: “We will do everything we can to ensure that this list does not see the light of day.”

He added that penalising the settlements was “an expression of modern antisemitism”.
Both Israel and the US pulled out of the Human Rights Council last year, claiming that Israel was being singled out.

Israel has good reason to fear greater transparency. Bad publicity would most likely drive many of these firms, a few of them household names, out of the settlements under threat of a consumer backlash and a withdrawal of investments by religious organisations and pension funds.

The UN has reportedly already warned Coca-Cola, Teva Pharmaceuticals, the defence electronics company Elbit Systems and Africa Israel Investments of their likely inclusion. Israeli telecoms and utility companies are particularly exposed because grids serving the settlements are integrated with those in Israel.

There is an added danger that the firms might be vulnerable to prosecutions, should the International Criminal Court at The Hague eventually open an investigation into whether the settlements constitute a war crime, as the Palestinian leadership has demanded.

The exodus of these firms from the West Bank would, in turn, make it much harder for Israel to sustain its colonies on stolen Palestinian land. As a result, efforts to advance a Palestinian state would be strengthened.

Many of the settlements – contrary to widely held impressions of them – have grown into large towns. Their inhabitants expect all the comforts of modern life, from local bank branches to fast-food restaurants and high-street clothing chains.

Nowadays, a significant proportion of Israel’s 750,000 settlers barely understand that their communities violate international law.

The settlements are also gradually being integrated into the global economy, as was highlighted by a row late last year when Airbnb, an accommodation-bookings website, announced a plan to de-list properties in West Bank settlements.

The company was possibly seeking to avoid inclusion on the database, but instead it faced a severe backlash from Israel’s supporters.

This month the US state of Texas approved a ban on all contracts with Airbnb, arguing that the online company’s action was “antisemitic”.

As both sides understand, a lot hangs on the blacklist being made public.

If Israel and the US succeed, and western corporations are left free to ignore the Palestinians’ dispossession and suffering, the settlements will sink their roots even deeper into the West Bank. Israel’s occupation will become ever more irreversible, and the prospect of a Palestinian state ever more distant.

A 2013 report on the ties between big business and the settlements noted the impact on the rights of Palestinians was “pervasive and devastating”.

Sadly, the UN leadership’s cowardice on what should be a straightforward matter – the settlements violate international law, and firms should not assist in such criminal enterprises – is part of a pattern.

Repeatedly, Israel has exerted great pressure on the UN to keep its army off a “shame list” of serious violators of children’s rights. Israel even avoided a listing in 2015 following its 50-day attack on Gaza the previous year, which left more than 500 Palestinian children dead.

Dozens of armies and militias are named each year.

The Hague court has also been dragging its feet for years over whether to open a proper war crimes investigation into Israel’s actions in Gaza, as well as the settlements.

The battle to hold Israel to account is likely to rage again this year, after the publication last month of a damning report by UN legal experts into the killing of Palestinian protesters at Gaza’s perimeter fence by Israeli snipers.

Conditions for Gaza’s two million Palestinians have grown dire since Israel imposed a blockade, preventing movement of goods and people, more than a decade ago.

The UN report found that nearly all of those killed by the snipers – 154 out of 183 – were unarmed. Some 35 Palestinian children were among the dead, and of the 6,000 wounded more than 900 were minors. Other casualties included journalists, medical personnel and people with disabilities.

The legal experts concluded that there was evidence of war crimes. Any identifiable commanders and snipers, it added, should face arrest if they visited UN member states.
Israel’s prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu, however, dismissed the report as “lies” born out of “an obsessive hatred of Israel”.

Certainly, it has caused few ripples in western capitals. Britain’s opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn was a lone voice in calling for an arms embargo on Israel in response.

It is this Israeli exceptionalism that is so striking. The more violent Israel becomes towards the Palestinians and the more intransigent in rejecting peace, the less pressure is exerted upon it.

Not only does Israel continue to enjoy generous financial, military and diplomatic support from the US and Europe, both are working ever harder to silence criticisms of its actions by their own citizens.

As the international boycott, divestment and sanctions movement grows larger, western capitals have casually thrown aside commitments to free speech in a bid to crush it.

France has already criminalised support for a boycott of Israel, and its president Emmanuel Macron recently proposed making it illegal to criticise Zionism, the ideology that underpins Israel’s rule over Palestinians.

More than two dozen US states have passed anti-BDS legislation, denying companies and individual contractors dealing with the government of that particular state the right to boycott Israel. In every case, Israel is the only country protected by these laws. Last month, the US Senate passed a bill that adds federal weight to this state-level campaign of intimidation.

The hypocrisy of these states – urging peace in the region while doing their best to subvert it – is clear. Now the danger is that UN leaders will join them.

Human rights defenders from & within New Zealand had urged members of the UN Security Council to adopt sanctions to give teeth to the resolution they passed last month demanding that Israel halt the construction of settlements on occupied Palestinian land.

In a letter to their leaders, Shawan Jabarin, the director of the legal advocacy and human rights group Al-Haq, commended New Zealand, Malaysia, Senegal and Venezuela for sponsoring UN Security Council Resolution 2334.

But Jabarin urged them to use the resolution as “an opportunity to move beyond mere statements to concrete and effective actions, including the imposition of sanctions against Israel for its continued violations of international law.” This would include banning the importation of Israeli settlement products into their territories.

Pitfalls
While praising the resolution for confirming the illegality of Israeli settlements, Al-Haq notes that it “falls short in several respects.”

“Israel’s violations of international law and Palestinian human rights do not begin or end with the construction and expansion of the illegal settlement enterprise,” Jabarin writes, noting decades of Israeli violations including, “collective punishment, extrajudicial killing, torture and ill-treatment, arbitrary arrests and administrative detention.”

He urges members of the Security Council to cooperate with the prosecutor of the International Criminal Court, which is currently conducting a preliminary examination of numerous war crimes allegations, including during Israel’s 2014 assault on Gaza.

Al-Haq legal staff have faced threats and harassment believed to be related to their work on the preliminary examination.

Jabarin also notes that the recent resolution “merely reiterates the Security Council’s previous demand that Israel cease all settlement activities,” but unlike earlier resolutions does not explicitly demand the dismantling of all existing settlements.

Echoing a warning given by this writer about the weaknesses of the resolution before it was passed, Jabarin adds: “the absence of such a call in the most recent resolution may be interpreted by interested parties as de facto legitimization of the existing settlement enterprise.”

Similarly, Jabarin writes that Al-Haq is “troubled” by the resolution’s references to various international peace initiatives that “equalize the roles and actions of Israel, the occupying power, and Palestinians, the occupied protected population.”

But regardless of what the text states, any bite the resolution has will come from actions by countries around the world.

“Declaration of war”
Israel has lashed out angrily against every member of the UN Security Council, but reserved particular vitriol for the four states that sponsored the resolution.
The Tel Aviv daily Haaretz reported that in the hours before the Security Council vote, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “let loose with sharp threats” in a phone call to New Zealand Foreign Minister Murray McCully.

“If you continue to promote this resolution, from our point of view it will be a declaration of war,” Netanyahu reportedly said. “It will rupture the relations and there will be consequences. We’ll recall our ambassador to Jerusalem.”

McCully refused to back down.

These events have continued to reverberate in New Zealand.

Earlier this week, McCully’s Auckland district office was vandalized with graffiti calling him a “traitor” and a “Jew hater.”

McCully called the vandalism “regrettable,” but defended the decision to back the resolution.
“It is very difficult to get past the fact that it is long-standing New Zealand policy to support the two-state solution, to condemn incitement and violence, and to call for a halt to the settlements process,” McCully told The New Zealand Herald.

“We hope that a normal friendly relationship with Israel will resume soon,” the foreign minister stated.

Small country, big impact

But supporters of Palestinian rights think a normal relationship is precisely what is not needed.

Writing this week in the The New Zealand Herald, the country’s biggest daily, Janfrie Wakim urged that “New Zealand, as the Western country most identified with UNSC 2334, needs to show Israel there is a cost” if it continues to ignore world opinion and violate Palestinian rights.

Wakim, spokesperson for the New Zealand Palestine Solidarity Network, proposes that the country could refuse to accept imports or Israeli visitors from the occupied West Bank and could ditch the cooperation agreement signed last year between Israel and the New Zealand Film Commission.

“We can put a stop to a range of economic and academic collaboration between Israel and New Zealand,” Wakim adds.

With a population of under five million, New Zealand has a history of standing up to bigger powers.

Precisely because it is small, its politicians are more accessible and arguably more receptive to public campaigns. And if New Zealand shifts its policy, that could in turn influence the actions of other governments.

So activists in New Zealand may want to preempt any backlash by urging their government now to declare publicly – as have Sweden, the Netherlands, Ireland, the European Union and the United States – that boycott, divestment and sanctions (BDS) activism is a free speech right.

In the 1980s, New Zealand angered the United States by declaring itself a “nuclear-free zone,” effectively banning visits to its ports by US navy ships – a policy that came about due to popular pressure on the government.

In the 1970s, New Zealand, along with Australia, took France to the International Court of Justice over the latter’s nuclear bomb tests in the Pacific.

New Zealand sued France again after French spies bombed the Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior in Auckland harbor in 1985, killing photographer and anti-nuclear campaigner Fernando Pereira.

And New Zealand campaigners can arguably claim credit for turning the sporting boycott of apartheid South Africa into an international phenomenon with their mass protests and disruptions of the 1981 tour by the Springbok rugby team.

In 2004, New Zealand even imposed diplomatic sanctions and jailed two Israeli agents over efforts to steal New Zealand passports, likely for use in clandestine operations or assassinations.

Among the measures she proposes, Wakim urges the government of recently appointed Prime Minister Bill English to instruct the New Zealand state pension fund, called the Superannuation Fund, to follow the lead of financial institutions in other countries by divesting from Israeli banks that finance settlements.

In 2012, the Superannuation Fund divested from several Israeli firms involved in the construction of settlements.

“And [Foreign Minister] Murray McCully can tell Netanyahu we don’t like countries declaring war on New Zealand for pointing out what international law is,” Wakim concludes. “He could tell him Netanyahu doesn’t need to send his recalled ambassador back to New Zealand until Israel behaves.”

Given the precedents, Israel has good reason to be worried when the New Zealand public stirs.

A year ago, an article headlined, “Why Israel should fear New Zealand.”

It followed Wellington’s decision – angering and surprising Israel – to sponsor the December 2016 UN Security Council resolution condemning settlements on occupied Palestinian land.

It argued that New Zealand is a small country, but could have a big impact on the situation in Palestine as it has done on the world stage in the past.

It pointed out that in the 1980s, New Zealand angered the United States by declaring itself a “nuclear-free zone” – a policy that came about due to popular pressure on the government.

A decade earlier, New Zealand, along with Australia, took France to the International Court of Justice over the latter’s nuclear bomb tests in the Pacific. New Zealand sued France again after French spies bombed the Greenpeace ship Rainbow Warrior in Auckland harbor in 1985, killing photographer and anti-nuclear campaigner Fernando Pereira.

And New Zealand campaigners helped turn the sporting boycott of apartheid South Africa into an international phenomenon with their mass protests and disruptions of the 1981 tour by the Springbok rugby team.

In 2004, New Zealand even imposed diplomatic sanctions and jailed two Israeli agents over efforts to steal New Zealand passports, likely for use in clandestine operations or assassinations.

Groveling politicians

The Worst Groveling Politician of them all

In the year since, New Zealand politicians, like virtually all their Western counterparts, have groveled to Israel. Gerry Brownlee, foreign minister in the conservative government that lost office in October, went cap in hand to Benjamin Netanyahu last June, pleading with the Israeli prime minister to let “the Israeli-New Zealand relationship to get back on track.”

Winston Peters, the foreign minister in the new Labour-led coalition, heads the right-wing nationalist New Zealand First party.

Peters had been a critic of New Zealand’s decision to back the Security Council resolution, fueling Israeli expectations that his appointment would herald a more sympathetic hearing in Wellington.

However in the run-up to last month’s UN General Assembly vote condemning Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern made clear her country would not be bullied.

New Zealand joined the overwhelming majority of nations that defied Trump’s threats and backed the resolution critical of the United States and Israel.

Lorde leads

But it was never politicians I was counting on to do what veteran New Zealand Palestinian rights campaigner Janfrie Wakim had called for after the UN Security Council vote on settlements: to “show Israel there is a cost” if it continues to ignore world opinion and violate Palestinian rights.

A year after the Security Council vote, New Zealand surprised Israel again. But this time it wasn’t the politicians.

It was the decision of chart-topping singer Lorde to cancel her scheduled show in Tel Aviv at the request of Palestinian and Jewish campaigners in her native country.

Once again, Israel’s diplomatic and propaganda machinery aimed its fire towards the South Pacific. Tel Aviv’s ambassador to Wellington invited the singer to a “friendly” meeting to discuss what the Israeli foreign ministry termed the “hate agenda” of BDS – the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement for Palestinian rights.

The ad claims that “New Zealand’s growing prejudice against the Jewish state seems to be trickling down to its youth.”

“Let’s boycott the boycotters and tell Lorde and her fellow bigots that Jew-hatred has no place in the 21st century,” the ad declares.

Such bile is no surprise coming from Boteach, a right-wing extremist backed by anti-Palestinian billionaire Sheldon Adelson.

Boteach has also been a prominent defender of alt-right platform Breitbart and its boss Steve Bannon.

But such vicious attacks are likely to repel rather than attract support for Israel.

As The New Zealand Herald reported Tuesday, the New Zealand Jewish Council – one of the country’s Israel lobby groups – was forced to distance itself from Boteach’s ad.

But on 26 December, the council’s spokesperson Juliet Moses had herself attacked Lorde in terms only slightly less hyperbolic than Boteach.

In an article for a pro-Israel website, Moses claimed that the singer had “given a nod to hatred and hypocrisy,” succumbed to pressure from a “fanatical fringe” and “taken a bow to a small group of noisy bullies” by cancelling her concert in Tel Aviv.

Just like Boteach’s ad, the New Zealand Jewish Council spokesperson accused Lorde of hypocrisy for supposedly ignoring human rights abuses in Russia and Syria.

“Rubbish”

What changed? Israel apologists in New Zealand are surely starting to recognize that their vitriol against Lorde is getting little traction.

Between Moses’ attack on Lorde and Boteach’s, The New Zealand Herald had made its own remarkable intervention.

“It is perfectly possible to oppose Jewish settlements on the West Bank, as indeed many Jews do, in Israel and outside, without being guilty of bigotry and prejudice,” the Herald stated. “The suggestion Israel should not be singled out when countries such as Russia are guilty of something similar is an argument New Zealanders often heard from defenders of South Africa in the apartheid era.”

“Sporting and cultural boycotts and campaigns for business disinvestment and international sanctions against Israel are a way of reminding public opinion in Israel the world needs Israel to keep striving for peace in its region,” the newspaper argued, effectively endorsing BDS. “Cultural figures such as Lorde are in a privileged position to give that message and New Zealand can be proud of her for doing so.”

A year since the Security Council vote, Israel should indeed still fear New Zealand.

But for people everywhere who support justice and peace, the example from that country of fewer than five million once again standing up to global powers is something to celebrate and inspire us.

Mossad spy ring ‘unearthed because of Christchurch earthquake’

The Israeli secret service Mossad has been accused of conducting an intelligence-gathering operation in New Zealand which was unearthed because of February’s Christchurch earthquake.

The operation was interrupted when a van used by a spy cell was crushed by masonry falling from a damaged building, killing one man, it is claimed.

Benyamin Mizrahi, 23, the Israeli man who died in the damaged van, was found to have five passports on his person, the Southland Times newspaper reported.

Three surviving Israelis who were in the van with Mr Mizrahi fled New Zealand within 12 hours, making their way back to Israel.

They reportedly paused only to take photographs of the crushed van and return the dead man’s Israeli passport to officials from their embassy.

The Southland Times also said the police national computer was being audited because of concerns it had been hacked into.

There were fears that other Israeli operatives, in the city after the February 22 quake which killed 181 people, could have embedded malicious software to access intelligence information.

John Key, the New Zealand prime minister, on Thursday confirmed that the government’s Security Intelligence Service had carried out an investigation but he dismissed the concerns.

Speaking during a visit to the United States, Mr Key said the unusual circumstances of the incident were fully investigated and no evidence was found that the people involved were anything other than backpackers.

He said his advice was that the man had only two passports, one of European origin which was found on his body, and the other which his friends had handed in to Israeli officials.

Mr Key said the government took the security of New Zealand and New Zealanders “very seriously”.

“The unusual circumstances which triggered the investigation was the rapid departure from the country of the three surviving members of the group of Israelis in question,” he said.

“Security agencies conducted the investigation and found no evidence that the people were anything other than backpackers,” Mr Key said.

In all, three Israelis died in the magnitude 6.3 earthquake.

Security experts suggested agents for Mossad may have been on an identity theft “trawling” mission for information, so that the passports of unwitting citizens could be cloned.

The false passports would then be used as cover during espionage activities in other parts of the world by Israeli secret agents.

Fred Tulett, editor of the Southland Times, said an “extraordinary” reaction by the Israeli government in the hours after the earthquake had heightened the suspicions of New Zealand’s Security Intelligence Service.

They included the fact that Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli Prime Minister, made four calls to John Key, his New Zealand counterpart, on the day of the earthquake.

Shemi Tzur, Israel’s ambassador to Australia and New Zealand, travelled from his base in Australia to Christchurch, where he visited the temporary morgue set up to cope with earthquake victims.

Meanwhile, Israel’s defence chief also flew to the earthquake-ravaged city.

In a further move, a search and rescue team arrived in Christchurch from Israel, but the squad’s offer of help was rejected by New Zealand authorities because it did not have the necessary United Nations accreditation.

Despite that rejection, members of the Israeli team were confronted by armed New Zealand officers after being discovered in the badly damaged sealed off “red zone” of the city centre, the Southland Times said.

The Israeli government later sent a forensic team to help authorities identify the dead.

The paper said New Zealand officials became alarmed when intelligence information was collated and it was realised that the Israeli forensic team had been given access to the police national database to help with identification work.

The paper quoted an unnamed intelligence officer as saying it would take only moments for a USB drive to be inserted into a police computer terminal and loaded with a program allowing remote backdoor access to the database.

A police spokesman later said: “We are confident that our data and network were not compromised during the Christchurch Earthquake response or subsequently.”

Mr Tzur, the Israeli ambassador, said it was “science fiction” to believe that any Mossad agents had been involved.

Turkey investigates visits by alleged New Zealand mosque attacker
Bulgaria says it is also investigating after discovering gunman made short visits to several countries in the Balkans.

Ankara has opened an inquiry after it emerged that the man alleged to be the New Zealand mosque attacker visited Turkey twice, according to an official.

A far-right supporter armed with semiautomatic weapons rampaged through two mosques in the city of Christchurch during afternoon prayers on Friday, killing at least 49 Muslim worshippers and wounding dozens others.

A visitor believed to be a 28-year-old Australian – who has been arrested and charged with murder in New Zealand – had visited Turkey and “stayed for a long period in the country”, the Turkish official said without giving dates.

“We think that the suspect could have been to other countries (from Turkey) in Europe, Asia and Africa. We are investigating the suspect’s movements and contacts in the countries,” added the official, speaking on condition of anonymity.

Turkish media reported that a manifesto published online allegedly by the attacker contained specific references to Turkey and ridding the famed Hagia Sophia in Istanbul of its minarets. Now a museum, the building was once a church before being turned into a mosque during the Ottoman empire.

Sofia earlier said it was investigating after discovering that the gunman might have visited Bulgaria in November 2018.

A man believed to be him spent a week in the country supposedly to “visit historical sites and study the history of the Balkan country”, Sotir Tsatsarov, Bulgaria’s chief prosecutor, said.

He said the inquiry would establish if this was “correct or if he had other objectives”.

The same man also made a short visit to the Balkans in December 2016, travelling by bus across Serbia,
Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Brenton Tarr aint, who is photographed flashing infamous “666 Sign of the Beast, recognised by most as the ‘illuminati symbol, representing the ‘all seeing eye”” the identifier of top level Freemasons initiated into Satanic ritual, is being recreated more and more as a fake person. From CNN today:

In order to correct our policy we need to understand who got us into this mess in the first place. The 9/11 event as a false flag operation and the War on Terror campaign were both conceived by Israeli military intelligence in the 1970s under the leadership of Menachem Begin, the self-proclaimed “Father of Terrorism” and founder of the Likud party who became prime minister in 1977. War on Terror doctrine was rolled out in July 1979 at a Netanyahu Institute conference in Jerusalem. The Israeli trick was to get the U.S. military to neutralize and fragment its enemies, most notably Iraq and Syria, under the pretext of fighting terrorism. Since 1979, this devious plan has been openly promoted by Benjamin Netanyahu. On 9/11, War on Terror proponent Netanyahu told the New York Times that the terror atrocity was “very good” for U.S.-Israeli relations.

The Israelis have a long history of using false-flag terrorism against the United States:

  • 1954 JUL – The Lavon Affair: Israeli agents place bombs in U.S. and British libraries and institutions in Egypt in a false-flag operation meant to be blamed on the Muslim Brotherhood.
  • 1967 JUN – Israeli aircraft and ships attack the defenseless USS Liberty, killing 34 and wounding 171, with the intention of sinking the ship – with no survivors – so that the blame could be assigned to Egypt.
  • 1983 OCT – A truck bomb kills 241 Marines in their barracks in Beirut. Former Mossad agent Victor Ostrovsky says Mossad knew the details of the truck, the time, and location of the bombing, but only gave a general warning to the Americans. A nebulous “Islamic Jihad” group is blamed; Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger says U.S. has no knowledge who really did the bombing. This occurred one month after a single Marine stopped an Israeli tank column – some former Marines believe Israel organized the attack.
  • 1986 FEB – Mossad plants a radio relay device in an apartment in Tripoli, Libya, to send fake messages that appear to be from the Libyan government; U.S. intelligence is successfully tricked and President Reagan orders bombing of Libya.
  • 1978 – Israeli agent Arnon Milchan’s first film features a Boeing 747 crashing into the PanAm building. Months before 9/11 produces a film episode in which remote controlled airplanes hit buildings.
  • 1979 JUL – Netanyahu Institute hosts conference on terrorism calling for U.S. military intervention in Middle East.
  • 1979 – Isser Harel, founding chief of Israeli intelligence, predicts 9/11 attacks in New York City.
  • 1982 FEB– Israeli Likud strategist Oded Yinon plan calls for the “dissolution of Syria and Iraq” and Balkanization of all Arab states.
  • 1983 – Israel creates foe for War on Terror: Under Ehud Barak, Israeli military intelligence (AMAN) begins arming and training anti-Western Hezb-i-Islami terrorists in Pakistan, including Osama bin Laden.
  • 1987 – Two of Isser Harel’s senior Mossad agents, Avraham Shalom Bendor and Zvi Malkin, get the security contract for World Trade Center; Port Authority cancels the contract when their criminal history is discovered.
  • 1990 – Rejected by Port Authority due to criminal conviction in Israel, Shalom Bendor goes to work for Jules Kroll.
  • 1993 FEB – Zionists manage prosecution of WTC bombing: Israeli-American Michael Chertoff, U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, plays key role in prosecution. Zionist Judge Michael Mukasey presides over case against “Blind Sheikh.” FBI informant Emad Salem is paid one million dollars for his testimony. Media leads public to believe that Muslims want to destroy the Twin Towers.
  • 1993 – After first WTC bombing Kroll Associates gets security contract for the Port Authority and the WTC.
  • 1994 – After losing Saudi and Pakistani support, the Israeli-trained “remainder of Hezb-i-Islami merges into al-Qaeda and the Taliban.”
  • 1998 DEC – Philip Zelikow’s Catastrophic Terrorism Study Group publishes report “Imagining Transforming Event” in Foreign Affairs (CFR). Co-authors Ashton Carter and John Deutch work for Global Technology Partners, an exclusive affiliate of Rothschild N.A.
  • 1999 – Hugo Neu creates a global trading division headed by two veteran ferrous metal traders from Marc Rich and Glencore AG in Switzerland. A lot of expense and effort is spent to prepare a network to export scrap iron to Asia while its price is at the lowest level in 50 years. Hugo Neu and the state share the costs of dredging the Claremont channel to allow large ocean-going ships to Asia.
  • 2000 SEP – A Neo-Con group, Project for the New American Century (PNAC) suggests that “a catastrophic and catalyzing event – like a new Pearl Harbor” may be necessary to facilitate “the process of transformation” they call for in U.S. military policy. Ten signers of the PNAC document, including Dick Cheney, were in senior positions of the Bush administration in 2001.

Israel-America Chamber of Commerce: The Israel-America Chamber of Commerce (AmCham Israel) is an organization of companies and individuals dedicated to the promotion of two-way trade and investment between Israel and the United States of America. The U.S. Ambassador to Israel serves as Honorary Chairman of the AmCham. Just one of its subsidiaries has a $100,000 annual budget.

Influential Pro-Israel Individuals

An example of such an individual is the current US Ambassador to Israel, Daniel Shapiro, who gave a speech in which he detailed his extremely close, life-long ties to Israel, concluding: “[A]s a committed Jewish American, with deep roots in the American Jewish community and warm bonds of affection with Israel, I will have an opportunity to draw on those associations to help make the U.S.-Israel relationship, strong as it is, even stronger in the years ahead.” He stated that “ensuring Israel’s future” drives all US policies. See “US Ambassador: Support for Israel drives all US policies”

Howard Berman, Democratic Congressman from California, acknowledged in a 2008 interview with the Forward, “Even before I was a Democrat, I was a Zionist.” He went on to explain that “an interest in the Jewish state” was one of the main reasons he first sought a seat on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs, where he is the top Democrat. Berman, who is known as “the Congressman from Hollywood,” also told the Forward, “He is particularly keen on getting the House more involved in Iran-related issues.”

Martin Indyk, former U.S. Ambassador to Israel (he was naturalized as an American citizen before being nominated for this position); currently Special Envoy for Israeli Palestinian Negotiations. At one point he had his security clearance revoked, the only time this has happened to a U.S. ambassador. See video.

Haim Saban, multimedia mogul whose net worth is over $3 billion dollars, has said, “I’m a one-issue guy and my issue is Israel.”

In 2010, he told New Yorker magazine that his greatest concern is to protect Israel by strengthening the United States-Israel relationship. Saban has bluntly outlined his formula for gaining influence in American politics: make donations to political parties, establish think tanks, and control media outlets. He tried to buy Time and Newsweek magazines, and has made repeated bids for the Los Angeles Times because he considers the paper to be pro-Palestinian. He donated $9 million to Democrats in the 2002 election cycle alone.

Sheldon Adelson, a businessman and casino magnate, is worth over $28 billion dollars. He owns a number of resorts as well as the Israeli newspaper Israel Hayom, the most largely circulated paper in Israel. Adelson set a new record in political donations by giving $70 million (to Republicans) in the 2012 elections, nearly triple the previous highest amount. He also funds pro-Israel organizations such as Birthright Israel, which takes thousands of young Jewish Americans on recruiting visits to Israel.

Rahm Emanuel (full name Rahm Israel Emanuel), powerful Democratic politician –Congressman, chair of the House Democratic caucus, mayor of Chicago (despite allegations that he had not been a Chicago resident), in Bill Clinton’s administration (had been Clinton’s main fundraiser), White House Chief of Staff under President Obama, etc. Volunteered with the Israeli military during the first Gulf War (his father had served in the pre-Israel terrorist group the Irgun), was Israeli citizen until age of 18.

Stuart Weitzman, shoe designer, donated $1 million to Maccabi USA. The Maccabiah is an Olympics-style competition held every four years in Israel.

Other individuals include:

  • Journalists (NYT’s Ethan Bronner’s son was in the Israeli army; more info on NY Times)
  • Pundits like Jeffrey Goldberg Kenneth Pollack, Daniel Pipes, Bill Kristol, Irving Moskowitz (more)
  • The Islamophobia Industry: Institutions and individuals who promote Islamophobia, including Aubrey and Joyce Chernick, Frank Gaffney, Pamela Geller (Park 51 “scandal”), David Horowitz, Stephen Emerson, David Yerushalmi, and others. (more)
  • Eric Weider, publisher of American History, Civil War Times, Military History, and eight other history magazines.
  • Hollywood tycoon Arnon Milchan, who produced Pretty Woman, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, and Fight Club, worked for the Mossad.

There’s no card to carry that says one is part of the Israel lobby. But taken as a whole, this sampling of powerful pro-Israel organizations demonstrates how information is systematically skewed before it reaches the American public. Politicians and journalists are systematically harassed, often losing jobs, if they step out of line.

There is no comparable pressure from the Arab-American side, much less from stateless Palestinians, who have no army, little money, and very little cultural influence or PR savvy. By contrast to the $3 million given by pro-Israel PACs in 2010, the two Arab-American PACs—Arab American Leadership Council PAC and Arab American Political Action Committee—gave a total of $36,500.

The Israel lobby played a major role in the creation of Israel and continues to exert strong influence on US foreign policy, often in ways that harm American interests and security. It was a major factor in promoting the Iraq war, it continues to advocate for war with Iran, and it has played a central role in fostering Islamophobia in the United States.

* PACs: Usually a PAC can only donate $5,000 for a primary and $5,000 for general elections. But with thirty “unaffiliated” PACs marching in lockstep behind AIPAC, this can balloon up to $300,000 for any given candidate. The extent of this influence remains hidden from view. They also use “bundling,” which means taking various individual donations and handing them over en masse to a candidate, so that on the books it shows up as several individual donations, but everyone except the FEC understands who’s really controlling the money.

A 1996 book called Stealth PACs reports that “in 1988, Israel’s lobby had 78 PACs spending more than $5.5 million to bribe Congress to vote more aid for Israel. That was more than total contributions together of the two next largest special interests in the United States—the real estate lobby and the teamsters.”

During the 2010 elections, Israel-affiliated contributions were the third highest of any special interest at nearly $3 million (with almost equal amounts given to Democrats and Republicans). But because that number was broken into pieces and hidden behind unrelated names, pro-Israel contributions didn’t “officially” make the top twenty.

One example is Washington Pac, founded by Morris Amitay, former head of AIPAC. Its website states: “…over three million dollars has been carefully distributed on a bipartisan basis to Senators, Representatives, and candidates… Its Capitol Hill location enables the PAC to meet with Representatives and Senators on an almost daily basis. The Advisory Board holds regular luncheons with U.S. Senate candidates, and the PAC’s newsletter has earned an esteemed reputation for its analysis of the U.S. Senate races.”

Teva: Not all PACs with connections to Israel are included in the pro-Israel list. For example, the parents company of the Teva PAC Teva Pharmaceuticals USA, is Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, an Israeli company, the world’s largest generic drug maker. It has achieved its astronomical sales by at times infringing on patents (although Judge Sidney Stein just rejected a similar claim – Stein also rejected a freedom of speech law suit related to the Palestinian issue ). Teva’s website states, “Teva Government & Public Affairs seeks to provide legislators and policy makers with both policy and political assistance on issues of importance to patients, the company, its customers, and the pharmaceutical industry as a whole.

The Washington Report on Middle East Affairs reports on PACs frequently. For example, see their list of pro-Israel PAC contributions to candidates by year…

Albert Pike August 15, 1871

“The First World War must be brought about in order to permit the Illuminati to overthrow the power of the Czars in Russia and of making that country a fortress of atheistic Communism. The divergences caused by the “agentur” (agents) of the Illuminati between the British and Germanic Empires will be used to foment this war. At the end of the war, Communism will be built and used in order to destroy the other governments and in order to weaken the religions.”

“The Second World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences between the Fascists and the political Zionists. This war must be brought about so that Nazism is destroyed and that the political Zionism be strong enough to institute a sovereign state of Israel in Palestine. During the Second World War, International Communism must become strong enough in order to balance Christendom, which would be then restrained and held in check until the time when we would need it for the final social cataclysm.”

“The Third World War must be fomented by taking advantage of the differences caused by the ‘agentur’ of the ‘Illuminati’ between the political Zionists and the leaders of Islamic World. The war must be conducted in such a way that Islam (the Moslem Arabic World) and political Zionism (the State of Israel) mutually destroy each other. Meanwhile the other nations, once more divided on this issue will be constrained to fight to the point of complete physical, moral, spiritual and economical exhaustion. We shall unleash the Nihilists and the atheists, and we shall provoke a formidable social cataclysm which in all its horror will show clearly to the nations the effect of absolute atheism, origin of savagery and of the most bloody turmoil. Then everywhere, the citizens, obliged to defend themselves against the world minority of revolutionaries, will exterminate those destroyers of civilization, and the multitude, disillusioned with Christianity, whose deistic spirits will from that moment be without compass or direction, anxious for an ideal, but without knowing where to render its adoration, will receive the true light through the universal manifestation of the pure doctrine of Lucifer, brought finally out in the public view. This manifestation will result from the general reactionary movement which will follow the destruction of Christianity and atheism, both conquered and exterminated at the same time.”
